Living Well Is a Practice

Decide. Do. See It Through.

Welcome to Well Into Life University

At Well Into Life University, we believe living well isn't a destination to reach or a standard of perfection to achieve. It's an ongoing practice of caring for ourselves, embracing life's possibilities, and continuing to grow through every season of life.

Physical well-being is an essential part of that practice. By nurturing strength, mobility, balance, and flexibility, we support our ability to move comfortably, maintain independence, and continue participating in the activities and experiences we love. Caring for our bodies is about more than exercise. It's about preserving and expanding our freedom to engage fully in life.

But living well involves more than physical health. It's also about how we care for ourselves, respond to challenges, connect with others, and cultivate the qualities that help us experience life more fully.

At Well Into Life University, we bring these dimensions together through accessible movement, mindful awareness, thoughtful reflection, and small, intentional practices that fit into everyday life.

Our Philosophy

Decide. Do. See it Through.

Decide.

Choose what matters and how you want to live. Meaningful change begins with awareness and the intention to care for yourself.

Do.

Put your intentions into action through small, meaningful practices. Each choice is an opportunity to care for yourself and cultivate the life you want to live.

See It Through.

Keep showing up for yourself. Growth isn't about perfection, but about returning to your practice, learning from your experiences, and continuing forward.

Meet the Founder

The Story Behind Well Into Life University

My relationship with yoga began nearly thirty years ago. Over the years, it has been a part of my life in different ways and during different seasons—sometimes a regular practice, sometimes something I returned to when I needed it most.

Yoga became a particular source of comfort during some of the most meaningful and challenging experiences of my life, including the loss of my son and the years of raising my children.

After more than twenty years as a stay-at-home mom, I began looking toward a new chapter. Five years ago, I became a certified yoga instructor, hoping to build a career around something that had been meaningful in my own life.

But as I continued to study and practice, I began to recognize that I wanted more than improved strength, flexibility, or mobility. I wanted to understand the patterns that shaped how I experienced life—the stumbling blocks that held me back and the stepping stones that could help me move forward.

Ā I wanted to learn not only how to move better externally, but how to live better internally.

That exploration became the foundation for Well Into Life University.

My hope is to help people care for their physical well-being so they can continue doing the things they love, while also cultivating the awareness, resilience, and inner qualities that help us navigate life's challenges and changes.

The inspiration for my first program, Move Well, Quilt Well, came in part from watching my mother and the women who quilt alongside her, creating beautiful quilts for children.

I see the joy and purpose they find in their creativity and service. I also see how much movement their work requires—bending, reaching, standing, getting down on the floor, and spending hours at their sewing machines.

Their creativity gives them something meaningful to do, something to share, and something to look forward to. I want to help them, and others like them, maintain the mobility and confidence to keep doing what they love for as long as possible.

And while movement is where Well Into Life University begins, my vision reaches beyond physical practice.

The experience of losing my son, and the lessons I've continued to learn in the years since, have shaped my understanding of healing, growth, and what it means to live fully even when life unfolds differently than we imagined.

One of my deepest hopes is to eventually create a yoga program in his honor, drawing on those experiences to offer support and meaningful practices for others navigating loss.

Well Into Life University brings these parts of my life together: movement, reflection, resilience, creativity, and the ongoing practice of living well.

I don't believe we ever finish learning how to live. But I do believe we can continue to grow in our capacity to meet life, care for ourselves, and participate in the experiences that matter most.

That's what I hope we can practice together.
